The familiar web site address format: http://domainname/page.htm
Here, ‘http’ is called the link protocol.
protocol part (component before ‘:’ ) tells the browser the kind of resource we are looking for and the method to be followed in extracting it.
'http:’ protocol informs the browser that we need to get a resource stored on a web server.

Apart from ‘http’, modern browsers support such protocols as ‘ftp’, ‘file’, ‘mailto’ and so on
‘file://c:’ will list out the directory of your local hard drive.

Another protocol available with most of the browsers is the ‘javascript’ protocol that runs JavaScript commands.

To record a session, first click on the `Power On' button available on the left-end of this toolbar.
Now, click on the `Begin Recording' button, go through the various steps as usual and when you are done, click on the `Stop recording' button.
